Tribe Gaming is a United States company. This policy explains how we handle personal information across both the tribegaming.gg website and the Tribe Gaming Analytics platform, where creators connect their social accounts to view growth and content analytics.
We are the controller of this information. For any privacy question or request, email privacy@tribegaming.gg.
Website
Analytics platform (connected accounts)
When a creator connects an account, we receive an account identifier and read-only metrics and content metadata (such as views, subscribers/followers, engagement, and video or post titles) from the platforms they choose to connect: YouTube/Google, Twitch, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X, Trovo, and Discord. We never receive account passwords.
Connected-account data is used only to provide the analytics features the creator sees in the app. Our legal bases (where the GDPR/UK GDPR applies) are: your consent for OAuth connections and marketing cookies, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the site, and performance of our contract to deliver the service.
Creators authorize read-only access through each platform's official OAuth flow. We never see or store your passwords, and you can revoke access at any time.
Tribe Gaming's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Use of YouTube data is governed by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. Google-derived data is not sold, not transferred to data brokers or ad platforms, and never used for advertising; it is used only for the user-facing analytics features described above.
You can disconnect any account at any time, in three ways:
When you revoke access or ask us to delete, we delete the associated connected-account data.
We share data only with service providers that host and run our website and analytics infrastructure, acting on our instructions under contract. We may also disclose data where required by law. We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
The website uses first-party cookies and may use third-party analytics to understand how the site is used. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings, and where a consent banner is shown you can choose which non-essential cookies to allow.
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected, and delete it on revocation or request. We do not store connected-account data indefinitely.
As a US-based company, we process data in the United States. When we transfer the personal data of users in the EU/EEA or UK, we rely on an appropriate safeguard such as the Standard Contractual Clauses.
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data; to restrict or object to processing; to withdraw consent; and to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (EU/EEA and UK). California residents may know, delete, and correct their information, opt out of sale or sharing, limit the use of sensitive information, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email privacy@tribegaming.gg.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, and OAuth access tokens are stored securely.
Our services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
We may update this policy and will revise the date above when we do. For any privacy question or request, contact us at privacy@tribegaming.gg.
