The Opportunity:

Tribe Gaming is seeking a temporary/contract Broadcast Operations/Producer to support the execution of a live show over the span of ~2 months. The contract will tentatively run from the end of February through April, and will be required to work weekend days (both Saturday and Sunday) as well as 1-2 additional days throughout the week to support the show’s execution.

What you’ll be doing:

The contract Broadcast Operations/Producer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth execution of the live broadcasts for the show, contributing to the overall success of the event and content. This contract role involves coordinating various aspects of live production and broadcast operations, tournament administration and moderation, as well as content scheduling and production.

The day-to-day will include:

  • Work directly with the Head of Production to assist with and coordinate multiple facets of live production and broadcast operations for Tribe Gaming and Tribe Gaming sub-brands involved in the show
  • Manage and support live broadcasts during production, ensuring a smooth and engaging viewer experience.
    • Execute graphics integrations seamlessly and ensure proper data syncing for dynamic content delivery
    • Serve as an intermediary for handling real-time changes and updates to the show’s content and flow
  • Act as the lead producer as needed for the show, actively operating the show from start to finish.
    • Responsible for being the on air director and producer, ensuring the broadcast follows the run of show
    • Running the broadcast via Vmix or OBS, depending on the show build
    • Communicate with talent throughout the show
    • Handle any changes and updates to the show’s content and flow in real time
  • Coordinate with the content team to assist in scheduling and producing deliverable pieces
    • Work closely with the content team to schedule and produce deliverable pieces for broadcasts
    • Ensure timely development and delivery of assets, maintaining a high standard of quality
    • Track deliverables and marketing elements, ensuring alignment with partner/client expectations

Required Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in producing live event coverage in a broadcast or streaming environment
  • Prior event, and / or tournament production, organization experience
  • Experience working with broadcast assets and overlays
  • Experience working with Google Sheets and Google Drive
  • Detail-oriented and organized individual with a deep understanding of broadcasting and live production workflows within the esports and gaming industry
  • Strong communication skills
  • A strong passion for esports, production and gaming
  • Available to work weekend days throughout the span of the contract

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with Vmix as a live production and broadcasting platform
  • Experience with streaming on platforms such as Twitch and Youtube
  • Technical knowledge to troubleshoot potential Network, Hardware and Software issues that may arise
  • Experience working with Image Editing software such as Photoshop, Gimp, Photopea, etc.
  • Located locally in Austin, TX

About this role:

Tribe Gaming is seeking an experienced Media Sales professional who will play a crucial role in generating revenue for Tribe and its content creators through YouTube Reserved Media sales. This person will be responsible for identifying Media Sales opportunities that align with Tribe Gaming’s goals and objectives, specifically in regards to Reserved Media Sales on YouTube. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication and negotiation skills, an existing rolodex of agencies and advertisers, and a history of closing deals in this space. This is a new role for Tribe Gaming, and the responsibilities and scope will continue to evolve over time.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Drive revenue growth by selling reserved media inventory on YouTube to advertisers and agencies
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy in alignment with Tribe’s overall business goals and objectives to meet and exceed revenue goals, including maintaining forecasting of Tribe gaming channel inventory
  • Identify and research potential brands, including corporations, businesses, and individuals and agencies who may be interested in utilizing Tribe Gaming’s exclusive and highly curated mobile gaming audience
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with prospective and current brands and agencies by understanding their advertising goals and objectives while continuously seeking opportunities to upsell and renew agreements
  • Create compelling sales proposals and presentations tailored to the needs and objectives of potential brands and partners
  • Pitch brands, media agencies and prospective clients about Tribe’s unique YouTube inventory and how we can deliver against their marketing objectives
  • Negotiate sales agreements, including terms, pricing, and deliverables, while ensuring a win-win outcome for both Tribe and brands
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, brand best practices and changes in the YouTube advertising landscapes to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the competition
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including talent management, brand sales and activations and business operations to ensure the successful execution of sales agreements
  • Generate regular reports on sales and campaign performance to make data-drive recommendations for optimization and demonstrate value to clients

What it takes to be successful:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
  • Proven track record in media or digital sales, with 2+ years of experience (experience selling YouTube Reserve inventory preferred)
  • In-depth knowledge of YouTube’s ad formats, targeting options and analytics
  • Solid, working relationships with clients and agencies in core vertical (gaming)
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic advertising
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to clients and package multi-component programs to deliver for client goals and needs

We are looking for a skilled editor for our FPS channel. Our process at Tribe Frags is hands-on — you will be working with a producer who led the video recording and will help you with detailed feedback for the vision of the video.

Ideal Candidate:

Has a sense of humor when editing, up to date on YT trends and is willing to exercise some creative storytelling.

About the Role:

As a Content Producer at Tribe Gaming, you will be expected to lead various serial and one-off type content series and will be hands-on from early-stage concepting to delivering the final piece internally. Working hand in hand with other creatives on the team, such as Senior Content Producers, Videographers, Editors, and Creative Directors. At Tribe Gaming, collaboration and execution are crucial to our success. You will join a young and dynamic team that is always hungry to develop and evolve our current content output. You should be curious about (mobile) gaming and the content universe in general, and demonstrate comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

You will be working on a wide variety of content ranging from filming polished partnership announcements, flying across the globe to cover our competitive squads, or filming challenge-type content with a large group of creators in Austin. Not only will you be expected to shoot but also be sufficiently skilled in editing, which can include on-site editing or elaborate, docu-style content. Additionally, you will be collaborating with the creative content team to assist in planning and ideating future content that is aligned with our content strategy.

  • 3+ years of professional shooting and editing
  • Experience with lighting, audio, and video equipment
