About this role:

Tribe Gaming is seeking an experienced Broadcast Producer to join our growing team! In this role, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, executing, and overseeing all aspects of creating and running live production events for Tribe Gaming. This is a collaborative role that will be working hand in hand with roles such as Account Managers, Content Producers, Social Media Managers, and other creatives. At Tribe Gaming, collaboration and execution are crucial to our success. You will join a young and dynamic team that is always hungry to develop and evolve our live content. You should be curious about (mobile) gaming and live broadcast production and demonstrate comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce, direct and execute all remote & in person live broadcast productions from start to finish, ensuring high-quality and engaging content delivery.
  • Lead the production planning of Live Broadcast and Tournament events, including working with partnerships to build RoS, Creative team to request and develop assets for the show, and ensure the seamless integration of technical and creative assets.
  • Innovation of the product itself – proactively coming up with ways to elevate and grow our broadcasts.
  • Coordinate all relevant operational information for events, including remote broadcast technology, technical requirements, and facility information.
  • Determine the necessary resources for live broadcasts and events to operate efficiently and effectively.
  • Serve as the Technical Director for live shows, ensuring smooth technical execution and visuals.
  • Collaborate across departments to align on client needs and sales goals for shows, ensuring all elements are delivered successfully.
  • Establish best practices, define processes, and maintain consistent workflows for the execution of events, broadcasts, and tournaments.
  • Manage Live Broadcast team staff, providing guidance, coaching and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships Department on building strong relationships with external clients and successful productions.
  • Track and report on the performance of Live Broadcasts, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years experience in directing and executing live and taped broadcast productions, including both in-studio and remote settings.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to plan, organize, and execute large-scale events with attention to detail and tight deadlines.
  • Deep understanding of broadcast technology, equipment, and production workflows.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to conceptualize and design engaging content for a diverse audience.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate and align across departments.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with a track record of effectively coaching and mentoring staff.
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings and weekends, to support live event broadcasts.

Social Media Intern

About this role:

Tribe Gaming is seeking a Social Media Intern to join the team! The Social Media Intern will be responsible for assisting in the creation and managing of content across all social media platforms, including Twitter/X, TikTok, Instagram and YouTube. In addition, this role will have an opportunity to actively participate and contribute to the social creative process, while also learning about Tribe Gaming’s unique approach to social media.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Assist in creating engaging content for Tribe Gaming across multiple social platforms – including content for our Partners: Samsung & AT&T.
  • Support the operations of Tribe Gaming’s white label series which includes providing live coverage from clipping highlights/top plays to directly posting on the white label account.
  • Participate in Social Media creative ideation, providing input and ideas for major activations, campaigns and partnerships deliverables, and identifying trends and opportunities for Tribe to join the conversation.
  • Support the Social Media Manager in the development and execution of the overall Social Media Strategy Tribe Gaming and white label accounts.
  • Assist and support the social operations for Tribe Socials including supporting the asset creation process in partnership with the creative and content teams to develop on-brand social media content, posting social content across the platforms, and providing social coverage for various esports events as needed.
  • Continuously research and stay up to date with the latest social platform updates, trends, and capabilities in order to define and adjust content strategy to platform/algorithm best practices.

What it takes to be successful in this role:

  • Prior experience or exposure to Social Media and content creation; experience with platforms such as TikTok, YouTube, and X preferred
    • Knowledgeable of current trends and best practices for each platform
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Collaborative and creative ideation skills
  • Ability to work on nights and/or weekends from time-to-time as needed
  • Interest in the Gaming and/or Influencer space
  • Local to Austin, TX with the ability to be in office a few days a week as needed
