Warzone's competitive scene is spread across NA, LATAM and EMEA. Each region has its own stars, its own languages and its own audiences, and they rarely meet on the same stage.
Activision wanted a tentpole moment that felt like a global sporting event. It needed to put the best of every region head to head, reach creative and competitive audiences, and feel bigger than a standard broadcast.
Under the Warzone Total Frenzy (WTF) banner, we built Continental Clash: a $100,000 international tournament played over four days (June 16–18 and 23). Each day narrowed the field and raised the stakes. The event opened with 64 teams across 8 lobbies, cut to the top 16 and ended in a match-point Grand Final for a massive prize pool.
To make it feel global, we brought together 197 streamers from three continents. We paired competitive players with creative talent so the event reached every corner of the Warzone audience. Our official co-streamers covered English, French, Spanish and Italian, and we gave them clean feeds and viewer rewards so every community could follow along in its own language.
We launched the hype at peak viewership by revealing the event at the end of our previous WTFrenzy broadcast. A full set of supporting creatives carried the event across platforms: clean animated graphics, white label social coverage, and a fresh coat of paint on the WTF brand to help the event stand out.
Watch the Hype VideoTo tie it all together, we built a dedicated Continental Clash landing page and live stat tracker connected to our internal database. Even without a direct game API, it showed real-time team and player comparisons, with live polls integrated into the Call of Duty Twitch channel. The same data fed on-air graphics such as "Teams to Watch" and head-to-head breakdowns, so casters and viewers could follow the story as it unfolded.

Not only did we develop a landing page that shows all event details, but we also had it fully integrated with the Call of Duty Twitch channel. Live polls helped engage the community and direct the conversations around clips and key moments.
Continental Clash turned Warzone into a cross-regional story told in four languages. Its stat-tracking framework can now be reused for future high-impact Warzone moments, which sets premium events apart from a standard broadcast package.
