About the Role:

As Videographer & Editor, you will be expected to lead various serial and one-off type content series and will be hands-on from early-stage concepting to delivering the final piece internally. Working hand in hand with other creatives on the team, such as Senior Content Producers, Videographers, Editors, and Creative Directors. At Tribe Gaming, collaboration and execution are crucial to our success. You will join a young and dynamic team that is always hungry to develop and evolve our current content output. You should be curious about (mobile) gaming and the content universe in general, and demonstrate comfort working in a fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing:

You will be working on a wide variety of content ranging from filming polished partnership announcements, flying across the globe to cover our competitive squads, or filming challenge-type content with a large group of creators in Austin. Not only will you be expected to shoot but also be sufficiently skilled in editing, which can include on-site editing or elaborate, docu-style content. Additionally, you will be collaborating with the creative content team to assist in planning and ideating future content that is aligned with our content strategy.

What you should bring:

  • 3+ years of professional shooting and editing
  • Experience with lighting, audio, and video equipment
  • Proficient with the Adobe CC video suite
  • Knowledgeable of the various stages of production including the development phase
  • Motion graphics experience
  • Valid passport for domestic and international travel
  • Local to Austin Texas or ability to relocate
  • Readily available reel, website, and/or portfolio

2021 Call of Duty: Mobile World Champions!

Two year ago, we signed BoLu and Marshy with one goal in mind: win a World Championship.

This team, consisting of BoLu, Marshy, Chailds, Banned, Envy, & Image, had quite the year. From an early team change at the beginning of the year to BoLu breaking his arm right before CODM Masters, this team persevered through adversity to deliver a flawless performance on the biggest possible stage.

Ever since we won CODM Masters coming from the Losers Bracket, we vowed to make it easier on ourselves and strived to get to the Grand Finals of the World Championship through the top of the bracket. Not only did we accomplish that, but we did it with an overall map count of 24-3 (can I get a ‘sheeeeeeesh’).

We couldn’t be more happier than ending this year and our #ONETRIBE campaign off with a World Championship bang.

Top 3 at Worlds! | Clash of Clans

This year’s Clash of Clans World Championship was one for the history books. We may not have taken home the trophy, but our third place finish can’t be overlooked.

Nebrax, eVe Maxi, eVe Cech, Cronos, Excocist, and Knowledge had their war cries ready as we faced off against the reigning World Champions, ATN.aTTaX to kick off the entire event. Not only did we win, we did it in perfect fashion! We were sent down to the lower bracket in our Round 2 matchup vs. J.X. Tiger but that didn’t bring us down. We secured back-to-back PERFECT wars (that means we had three total but who’s counting) to meet the Queen Walkers in the Lower Finals—that is where our miracle run ends…

This team fought through adversity all year and gave a stellar performance on the biggest stage and for that we are forever grateful.

Tribe Gaming and MOVE Network unveil limited edition NFT collaboration

AUSTIN, TX (November 23, 2021) — Tribe Gaming and MOVE reveal key details of their limited edition NFT collaboration, which revolve around Tribe Gaming’s media, esports, and cause-based NFT drops. 

Tribe Gaming, in collaboration with MOVE Network, will be releasing a series of limited edition NFTs for auction. The NFTs will each unlock unique and bespoke perks, experiences, and opportunities within the Tribe universe for the holder. Tribe will be donating all of their proceeds to the Quest to Conquer Cancer fundraising initiative.

The first NFT series for auction is entitled, “One Tribe”, the tagline that unifies all six of Tribe’s world-championship-qualified teams in their quest to bring home the hardware. The owners of these editions will get access to various perks, including: private gaming sessions with Tribe creators and professionals, exclusive, not-for-sale ‘One Tribe’ merchandise, and social media amplification. 

In addition, MOVE Network and Tribe will mint exclusive commemorative NFTs for Tribe’s in-house operated esports series, MSTRS.  MOVE Network will also be the presenting sponsor for the MSTRS’ weekly MVP award–entitled ‘Makin’ Moves’–in which the most valuable player of the week will receive a special NFT immortalizing their performance.

Summoner Series Champions! | Wild Rift

WE ARE THE KINGS OF NORTH AMERICA—oh, and Summoner Series Champions also has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?

After taking home the first two Majors to secure our spot in the Summoner Series Finals, we left no doubt on who should represent NA at the Horizon Cup.  MaxGreen, Starting, ttigers, Oldskool, & Chuck came to play and won the whole thing while only losing 1 game… seriously, they went 11-1 over the course of the entire event.

As Motion Generalist at Tribe Gaming, you will be working closely with our Creative Director, Project managers, and a team of young creatives to produce outstanding 2D & 3D animations, and motion design, which will be used across Tribe Gamings, Creators and other clients digital outlets.

What you will be doing:

  • Work with our Creative Director and team members to produce compelling animations and motion graphics
  • Execute within provided IP guidelines, and if requested have the ability to further advance given IP
  • Build full-motion projects from approved concepts or animate all kinds of assets to be integrated with other video components
  • Hands-on 2D and 3D motion concept development, design, and animation

The projects you are going to work on will contain an exciting variety of, but not limited to, broadcast packages, video assets, video intros, logo animations, or complex visual storytelling through animation. A large amount of our creative team speaks Portuguese, but parts of your daily work will be communicated in English, so a sufficient amount of written and spoken English is critical.

What you should bring

  • 3 years experience in motion design, 2D, 3D
  • Strong ability in video design, video editing, and motion graphics
  • Proficient in After Effects, Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant motion graphics software
  • To work creatively within provided IP guidelines
  • Ability to step back and self-critique and also provide constructive feedback to your team members

About the Role:

Asthe Senior Art Director at Tribe Gaming, you will be working closely with our Creative Director, project managers, and lead a team of junior creatives to produce complex creative projects & campaigns. In this leadership role, you require a natural eye for creativity and a drive to inspire new ideas and lead them until completion. In addition, you should be curious about the (mobile) gaming and content universe and demonstrate comfort working in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a strong passion for brand identity building and the ability to problem-solve every step of the way, from ideation to production.

What you will be doing:

  • A to Z management from campaign brief to delivering the end product
  • Spearheading the production of creative materials for complex social media campaigns around our Esport Teams, sponsor content, and other white label products
  • Independently produce compelling brand identities
  • Create and communicate effective concepts by applying brand-level awareness as well as campaign tactics
  • Apply brand consistency across various deliverables in the design and layout of all projects
  • Create original artwork that illustrates design concepts and captures stories
  • Create and maintain a clean working file system for all art files
  • Coordinate animation with the motion graphics team

The projects you are going to work on will contain an exciting variety of, but not limited to, tasks. Such as building a broadcast package from zero – including a compelling visual identity and development of key visuals with purpose, developing a new brand identity for a large mobile gaming content creator. As a large amount of our creative team speaks Portuguese, but parts of your daily work will be communicated in English, a sufficient amount of written and spoken English is critical.

What you should bring:

  • 3+ years experience in Art Direction position, with experience in directing a small team of artists
  • 7+ years of relevant experience in graphic design
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, and other relevant design software
  • You have a standout portfolio that demonstrates high-quality art direction, storytelling, and a clean, up-to-date design aesthetic within various campaigns.
  • It is easy for you to come up with complex brand identity solutions
  • Organization skills to lead and execute creative campaigns and ensure they run efficiently within set deadlines and expectations.
  • Ability to work creatively within provided IP guidelines
  • You have no issue with taking a step back to self-critique your own work, and also can provide constructive feedback to your team members
